Apple Fritters

Enjoy the seasonal taste of fall with these high-protein baked apple fritters! Lower in calories but full of flavor, these donuts are made with all-purpose flour, protein powder, Monkfruit sweetener, and diced Pink Lady apples. A delightful and healthier treat!

What you need

oz all purpose flour

oz nonfat greek yogurt

tsp cinnamon

tbsp water

tsp salt

oz pink lady apple

tsp baking powder

oz powdered sugar

oz light butter

monk fruit extract
Instructions
1: Mix all the dry ingredients together. 2: Add in the diced apple and toss it in the mixture with a fork. 3: Add the Greek yogurt and light margarine, and stir more with a fork. 4: Use your hands to form two separate balls of dough and shape them into bear claw/apple fritter shapes (about 1 inch thick). 5: Bake in the air fryer at 375°F for 10-12 minutes, or in the oven for 20-25 minutes on a tray lined with parchment paper (broil for the last 3 minutes). 6: While they're baking, mix the Lakanto powdered sugar and water together, then pour/brush it onto the fritters when they're done.View original recipe
